Events

  • Join us at "Innovative fashion: closing the gap between education and employment" in Brussels, an event jointly organised by the European Confederation of the Footwear Industry (CEC) and ThinkYoung under Erasmus+ project "Learn2Work". This initiative aims to tackle the growing number of young people who are Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET), by increasing their employment opportunities in the footwear industry in Europe, while addressing companies’ significant skills mismatch through an innovative approach to education and training.

  • A"Young Workers' Day", presenting attractive quality jobs in the footwear sector, will be organised by the Portuguese Footwear Technology Centre (CTCP) with the support of the Portuguese Footwear, Components, Leather Goods Manufacturers' Association (APICCAPS) at the UITIC Congress in Porto, Portugal, as part of the European funded social dialogue project "Attracting New Skilled Workforce", led by the Italian footwear association Assocalzaturifici, with the participation of the European Confederation of the Footwear Industry (CEC) and the social partner IndustriAll.
