Trade Policy

In the European footwear industry trade plays an important role and exports are in continue growth: from 2008 until 2013 the EU 28 footwear exports to third countries have increased by 31% in quantity and by 44,2% in value.

 

The CEC in this regard:

  • Boosts fair competition;
  • Makes sure that trade distortions are addressed, and
  • Defends and supports EU companies.
