Delving deep into the very fabric of footwear production, Shoe 5.0 is not just redefining roles – it is creating them. The I5.0 footwear architect is a new profile specialising in the interaction of machines and operators, as well as robotics and artificial intelligence. Additional key profiles that will be developed by the project include footwear technical manager, footwear manufacturing operator, footwear designer/pattern maker, and maintenance technician.

But it does not stop there. Armed with cutting-edge resources like the innovative skills scanning tool, which delivers tailored learning pathways, Shoe 5.0 is paving the way for a personalised educational experience, customised to fit each individual’s interests and aspirations.

What is next? Augmented Reality (AR) steps onto the stage. Imagine an educational app buzzing with challenges that link seamlessly to the learning units developed by the project, available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Romanian, for a truly wide reach.
